“Stepping Up Ohio” Athens County Meeting

The Athens-Hocking-Vinton Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services “317” Board presents the Stepping Up Ohio Countywide Meeting, taking place virtually on Tuesday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and featuring presentations on mental illness and the criminal justice population.

The 317 Board is proud to bring the Stepping Up Ohio team to Athens County for a virtual meeting to provide a refresher on local, state and federal resources that are available to Athens County. The Athens County Commissioners passed a resolution on June 16, 2015, to join this national initiative. Planning meetings were held in 2017, and new services have been introduced to improve treatment options for person with mental illness who are involved in the criminal justice system.
