This agency serves children and adults in Athens, Hocking and Vinton Counties who need alcohol, tobacco and other drug treatment and mental health and gambling addiction services. These services may treat the following needs:
- Family problems
- Involvement with courts
- Parenting problems
- Problems at school
- Problems at work
- Stress
- Withdrawal symptoms
What kind of services can I receive?
- Someone who can talk to you about your treatment needs.
- A counselor to help you meet your needs.
- A group of people you can meet who have needs like yours.
- Opportunities for a full continuum of care, education, prevention, intervention, Suboxone treatment, outpatient treatment and intensive outpatient treatment
- Referral for hospital detoxification services for severe problems.
- Residential treatment programs for women and adolescents.
- A court-approved weekend DUI intervention program.
If you are pregnant or an intravenous drug user you will get an appointment to talk with someone about your needs within 24 hours of your call.
If it is a non-emergency, you will receive an appointment within five working days, or as soon as possible.
What are the costs for services?
Costs will vary depending on the service needed. Consumers who meet certain criteria may be eligible for services that are paid for through specific grants. A sliding scale fee is also available and is based on income.
