Athens County Suicide Prevention Coalition Suicide Bereavement Support Group
The Athens County Suicide Prevention Coalition will be holding a Suicide Bereavement Support Group for those survivors who share a common sorrow in having lost someone to suicide. The floor will be open to those who wish to share their unique journey as a survivor with others.
The Suicide Bereavement Support Group will be held at Appalachian Community Hospice 30 Harrold Ave., Athens, OH 45701 on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 6:00 pm. to 7:30 p.m. Please contact Stephen Simko, LSW at 740-594-8226 for more information.
For those who can't attend the Athens County group, a Suicide Bereavement Support Group is currently being held in Logan, OH at The Bowen House, 196 N. Market St., on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Please contact Janey Saving at 740-385-1389 for more information.
