Transitional housing services for adult males recovering from alcohol and/or drug addiction.
The John W. Clem Recovery House is a safe place to live for men who are making the transition from alcoholism or addiction to sobriety. Candidates for The Clem House must be alcoholics or drug addicts 18 years and older who have completed detox and genuinely want to stop drinking and/or using drugs. Residents may stay three to six months.
Requirements
· Signed contract agreeing to rules & regulations.
· 100.00 weekly residence fee.
· Obtain employment within a specified amount of time.
· Attend AA/NA meetings in-house (one church related activity may be substituted).
· Attend weekly House Meetings.
· Help prepare and share community meals and household tasks.
· Meet with House Manager weekly for one-on-one discussion.
The final two weeks of stay involve planning and strategies to prevent relapse. Residents are required to sign continuing care and avoidance of relapse contracts when program is completed.
